Safeguarding

Fairfield High School has a community of nearly 600 students based in a rural setting within the Golden Valley in Herefordshire. Students attend the school from a large geographical area, joining from over 20 primary schools across Herefordshire and the Welsh borders.

We are committed to safeguarding all students who attend Fairfield and promoting their welfare. The Safeguarding Team deal effectively with a range of safeguarding and wellbeing concerns which reflect the individual and group needs of our students. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility and we have robust safeguarding policy in place that can be found using the link in the box below. Our safeguarding procedures apply to all students, staff, volunteers, visitors and contractors and follow the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KSCIE) latest guidance found at this link:

Concerns can be raised by students, parents/carers or other agencies and schools. Further advice for students can be found under the wellbeing and online safety tabs on the website.
