Delivering Careers and Enterprise at Fairfield High School

Careers Vision Statement: 

 At Fairfield High School we are committed to providing a stable, structured and inclusive careers programme that equips all students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to make informed decisions about their future pathways. Our programme aims to raise aspirations, enable well-informed decision-making and prepare every student to become a confident, responsible and valuable contributor to society. 

All staff are actively involved in the delivery careers education.

Careers Advice and 1:1 Guidance

The school is committed to ensuring students have access to high quality, impartial, 1:1 careers guidance.  Our independent Careers Adviser, Mrs Dee Waters is in school on a Thursday and is based in the Nigel Davies Wing. 

All Year 11 students will have a 1:1 guidance interview automatically scheduled with a qualified careers adviser. 

Students in all years can request an appointment by contacting careersadmin@fairfield.sch.uk or speaking to Miss Allsopp or Mrs Waters.

 

Working with our students

We are keen to build relationships with local employers and organisations. If you are interested in working with us, please get in touch – we’d love to explore a range of opportunities, including workplace visits, guest speakers, careers talks, mock interviews, mentoring, work experience and other enrichment activities.
